Our Story
Loops for Smiles began with a simple willingness to share handmade pieces. What started as a personal hobby, crocheting for friends and family during quiet moments, became something more after a volunteer event revealed the quiet impact of handmade comfort.
One gesture turned into many, and soon others joined in. The idea was simple: create with care, give with intention. Over time, Loops for Smiles grew into a network of volunteers stitching comfort for those who need it most, from pediatric patients to families in crisis.
Today, we serve vulnerable communities and partner with organizations throughout Brazos Valley and Montgomery County, delivering handmade gifts where they’re needed most. We’re always working to reach new audiences. Our goal is to stay accessible to anyone who wants to volunteer — and to any organization that hopes to receive donations for the communities they support.
